| Task 1: Read this
overview of
the Common Core State Standards that will appear in the national
elementary mathematics journal in a few months. The Common Core Math Standards are being taught in K-2 classrooms this year in CMS, Cabarrus, Kannapolis City and some other districts. Starting next year (2012-2013), they will be taught K-12 in 43 states. |
| Task 2: Complete the curriculum assignment. If a window pops up, just hit cancel... it should come right up! Overview: You will examine a textbook focusing on a concept in the grade level that you are doing your clinical work in. The link above will give you everything you need. |
| Task 3: Diagnostic project- Complete your pre-assessment. Submit via Moodle. Begin first lesson plan. Submit via Moodle. |
| Task 4: Errors exam- It will be e-mailed to you. Due in two weeks. Open book, open note, not open friend. |
