Using the Technology

In this course you will use a variety of technologies. There are numerous websites that will help you use them. However, here are a few quick tips for some of the technologies.

Annenburg Videos
First, visit the website and create an account. You will want to remember your username and password.

Creating a Blog- Posterous
Go to Posterous and create a free account.
Remember the URL of your site.... http://username.posterous.com
Make sure you register an e-mail address.
While you can post to your Posterous account via the web, using e-mail is the easiest function- Since you are using e-mail, you can post from a computer or from a SMART phone.

Creating a Blog- Wordpress
Go to WordPress.
Create a free account.
Remember the URL of your blog..... http://username.wordpress.com

Moodle
Go to 49er Express.
Log in with your UNCC username and password.
Follow the links.
Log in again with your username and password.
