Cost The Institute fee is $3,650.
The fee includes airfare, ground transportation, two-bedded room with shower
and toilet (very nice hotel accommodations), two meals during planned
program days, all internal transportation, admission to planned cultural
events, and English speaking tour guides.
This price also includes six hours of undergraduate or graduate
credit.
A $550 deposit must be made to reserve air tickets and a place in the
Institute. This deposit is fully refundable until March 7, 2008. A
second payment of $1,550 is due by April 11, 2008. Final payment of
$1,550 is due by May 9, 2008. After May 16, 2008, persons canceling
will have one half of their registration returned.
Despite these deadlines, recruitment for the Summer Institute
continues until all the shots are filled. Airline tickets will be
purchased at a group rate and are nonrefundable. A $550 deposit check
should be made payable to UNC-Charlotte and sent (with the
Application form) to:
